The Western Upstate MLS released their market report for February this week.  Hot trends for 2015 will include increased inventory for several market segments and low interest rates for borrowers.  Over the last 12 months (Mar 2014-Feb 2015), pending sales in the western upstate region were up 9.3% overall.  The price range with the largest gain in sales was the $300,001 and above range, where pending sales increased 21.6%.

In the city of Anderson, February brought 158 new listings and 70 closed sales.  The median sales price on those sales was $141,950 up from $125,500 in February 2014.  The average days on market for homes sold in February was 96 days.

Seventy-six new listings on Lake Hartwell hit the market in February, and 20 lakefront properties sold.  Median sales price on Lake Hartwell was $183,000 after spending an average of 132 days on the market.

For Lake Keowee property owners, there were 63 new listings and 18 closed sales last month.  The median sales price was $423,750 and an average days on market of 171 days.
